German Appeal

When talking about renowned fashion models, the name Heidi Klum should not be ignored. This German supermodel got her first universal opportunity when she became the first ever German cover girl of 'Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue' in 1998.

Moving in the world of modeling has never been problematic for Heidi. Through her very unrelenting companion, she joined a contest in Germany in 1992 and eventually won the title of Model '92. She was really astonished because she never expected to win, plus the prices including a modeling contract and a car were what she was dreaming to have. However, she left modeling to keep on her studies. But when she was ended with her studies, she then resolved to pursue a career in fashion designing, but instead landed a career in modeling again.

From Germany, she has flown to Paris and Italy for more fashion requirements, and then in 1993 she was flying on her way to the United States where a better opening is waiting for her. Years later, she had her first catwalk experience in a Victoria Secret fashion show, and from there her profession was inescapable. Then later on she even made her acting debut on TV and then on movies in the United States. She as well had a chance to sing on a live audience with the band, Wheatus, and aside from that, she has also hosted a number of affair such MTV's "Fashionably Loud Europe 2001" in Milan and Laureus World Sports Awards 2001.
