The Unparalleled Sexual Detention in Germany

In Germany, I prefer immensely the food and the sights, not to mention the car factories that I journey to. But even though things have developed over the decades, the Germans still look back to the past, where they had a role to play in changing the world we live in today.

When it comes to history, what spontaneously comes to mind when chatting about Germany? Yes, the most known word that reminds anyone of this country may be "Nazi," but the most cruel event that happened in Germany was not only the holocaust but also the sex detention in German prison cells from 1942 to 1945.

During World War II, thousands of women from more than forty nations were raped and abused when the German government revealed the "Forced Sex System" in Nazi camps, where male German soldiers freely visit prison cells that contain enslaved women, mostly from Ravensbrück, and forcedly have sex with them. This was a legal system at that time because it intended to surge the soldiers' productivity, so they could work better in the doomed Nazi factories which produced arms and batteries. Another objective of this system was to restrain homosexuality among the German military men and the male prisoners.

During the decade when the sex system was in effect, many women became sick or just died due to illnesses and the abuse itself. After 1945, this heartless system was halted and several women prisoners were freed, but the women went away and did not stand as witnesses to such a crime since then because of shame and trauma.

Visiting Stuttgart Sights Changed My Touring Traits

When I am done attending bashes and with my shopping, that's the only point that I stroll around that city that I visit. I have this behavior of spending half of my touring expenses through buying souvenirs, before exploring the location, and learning its history and other important facts. So, when I went to Stuttgart, Germany, I shopped first and partied all night before going to the city's notable spots.

However, when I traveled two of the major attractions of Stuttgart, I realized that they are more interesting than the shopping malls and watering holes that I have been to. I went to the Neues Schloss & Schlossplatz (New Palace & Palace Square) and learned that the area shows great French influence. The State Government representatives use the New Palace during their sessions, while Germans pay tribute to King Wilhelm I's reign in the Palace Square.

I also dropped by the Stuttgart City Gallery where the Stuttgart Union of Artists and the Württemberg Society of Art have their museum. Sculptures and paintings, which are made in the 1800's are preserved in the City Gallery, and the main attraction in this place are the works of Adolf Hölzel.

I was really amazed by Germany's rich culture and history, which are showed in the significant structures in Stuttgart. I was about to explore the city more, but my chum said were late for our flight. I think my time was wasted in doing nonsense like shopping and partying so, the next time that I will fly to Germany, I'll tour first its significant spots first.

Scrumptious and Nourishing Hot German Potato Salad

You don't need a South Beach diet to be healthy, when you can always indulge in a great serving of Hot German Potato Salad and get the best out of fitness and health. Potatoes have spent a great time under the ground, but when used as a food combo, it could almost be as pleasing as a vitamin pill. It's a nice source of potassium that helps maintain flexible muscle performance while improving direct response of nerves from stimulation. With Iron, potatoes could be a great alternative for fatty diets, as they convert food to essential energy and resist infection. For faster recovery and healing, potatoes can also provide Vitamin C for the body with minimal sodium content, making it a fine ingredient for a hearty food.

Without fat or cholesterol, fiber-rich potatoes offer excellent, crisp flavors to scrumptious German salads. In the same manner, bacon and chopped onions are perfect for a good seasoned covering made out of wine vinegar, water, and seasoning. Potatoes help absorb the excess liquid that they create a smooth taste for the German fusion for a scrumptious salad. This German food is fairly easy to prepare and is great enough to be a meal in itself. However, Hot German Potato Salad is regularly presented as an appetizer even for the diet conscious.

Not Your Common Fashion Artist

Jil Sander is truly not your common fashion artist. She is a very driven fashion designer who is very much concern about everything in her enterprise including which fabric to use, the design procedures, and even the quality control. Aside from these, she also designed her shops up to the smallest element; she has rules for her people that must be strictly followed; and each of her salesperson has their own position inside the boutique.

Heidemarie Jiline Sander or Jil was born and nursed in Wesselburen Dithmarschen, part of the northern section of Germany. Her first profession after college and after two years in the U.S was in 1963 as an editor of a vogue magazine. Five years later, she launched her own shop in Hamburg. However it was only in 1973 that Sander's collection was exposed in the souk. Her stubborn behavior, more often than not, was her reason for returning to simple cut and lines in her design and her very tasteful preference of fabric. Soon she strengthened her plans this time with more coordinates to allow free combination of pieces. Sander's delicate fabrics and colors targeted women who adored fitting and eminent look. A kind of collection that need not much accessories and glitzy colors-- perfect for self-confident and present women.

Simply Chill at Luxurious Steinberger Hotel

When people embark on an overseas holiday journey, the priority aim naturally is to have a fun and relaxing time. Many taverns may not share the same perspective and will only offer the average hiker a comfortable shelter where to spend the night in. But this is not the case in a German hotel known as the Steinberger Hotel since ostensibly, it operates on the principal belief that being on vacation should automatically mean thorough relaxation. That is most probably the justification why its biggest attraction is the Aqua-world, a sauna and spa center keeping a total of 1,500 square meters of prime hotel space. The center has both an indoor and an outdoor pool that offer marvelous views of the German landscape outside, while its fully-functional features help maintain water heat inside the pools in cases when the outside temperature begins to fall, serving swimmers with continued bathing pleasure.

Alternatively, diverse other saunas are readyat the Steigenberger Hotel, although these are highly-specialized versions. These embrace Finnish saunas, steam baths, and sauna gardens, all of which are basically designed to provide maximum comfort to both the body and the spirit.

Country-styled rooms fitted with commendable amenities are what the Steigenberger Hotel offers to provide a soothing atmosphere, aided by either terraces or balconies from where guests can get to enjoy picturesque views of several German attractions like Lamer Winkel.

The hotel has diverse other great features that the average German visitor will definitely enjoy, such that at the conclusion of his journey, he is not only well-relaxed, but highly-knowledgeable as well about German tourist spots.
