A Pleasureable Time During Late Night At Germany

Germany is a region that has many foreign visitors annually, whether they are students or working professionals on break. When I was in Germany, I was stunned to see that the people there value their free time, and it was an expected occurrence to see them hang out at different taproom and restaurants after work or school. Wherever I looked, I could see outdoor dining and drinking areas full with people holding up mugs of drafts and taking shots of tequila. The renowned Oktoberfest wasn't even around the corner and I was already getting a teaser of that event. A fellow of mine was disco hopping and he informed me that the clubs in Germany were one of the best in the world in terms of the degree of pleasure offered.

In Frankfurt, a city in Germany, the nightlife scene is just as alive and as fun as a day fair. However, late night in this region does not only cater to the young and the restless crowd. In fact, there are also a lot of activities that the older citizens can delight in while staying in Germany. Try going to the Skyscraper Festival that is celebrated every May, or the Sound of Frankfurt Festival in July. Whatever the preference you take, it doesn't change the fact that Germany is a good place to be in!

The Succulent Fillings of Delicious German Pancakes

I think mornings are pretty tough for citizens who are normally on a rush to do something and start their day right. The only thing that can surely make me smile aside from bacon and eggs are delectable pancakes. They're my well-liked early breakfast recipe. I've got a sweet tooth, so I go heavy on maple syrup just to sprinkle more sumptuous flavors to my pancakes. But after I've munched on the German pancake on my first trip to Germany, I've kicked the old habit out of my routine. Because now, I fix my pancakes with vanilla and cinnamon as part of its preheated combination. Using a baking pot built to withstand the heat of an oven, I fix my German pancakes to golden-brown perfection. At first impression, you'd easily see it as a crossover between the omelet and the common souffle. Despite its appetizing cinnamon and vanilla blend, German pancakes are lighter and softer than I thought it would be. Toppings would include a squeeze of lemon juice and sprinkle of powdered sugar that lend a flavorful mixture to the appetizing taste of German pancakes. However, I later found out that I could also add more twist by using apple sauce as a oozing delight as well as whipped cream and strawberries as remarkable toppings. Fresh fruits such as crushed pineapples are also great combinations for a richly delicious breakfast or afternoon snack.

Swastikas Deployed As Fashion Designs

German designers (the likes of Jil Sander, Escada, and Karl Lagerfield) have been very bold in the fashion market for many years, and yet, the fashion scene in Germany is somehow shy. The reason for this is that German designers are always laboring for other fashion houses, and as a result, German designs have been complicated to pinpoint, but that is not what I will point out today.

I have no idea what readers will say or how you will answer, but one thing is for sure, the German fashion scene have recently made itself not shy to the world. In modern history, Germany was controlled by extremists who were descendants of the Nazi era, and although there are still a few of them left, many Germans are zealous to throw them out. Now, these same people who want to drop them out have created a line of clothes that outlined the Nazi symbol, the swastika, with a red line across it. Although it clearly is proving that modern Germany says no to extremism, the said articles of fashion clearly manifests the admission of the swastika again into the mainstream. Government officials bear by their ruling that no swastika will be a symbol of fashion, whether be it enjoyable or bad.

Post-Modern Meets Traditional In Bonn's Splendid Apartment

During the first time that I went to Germany, I was a vacationer who took in everything in the region with wide eyes. I was amazed with the architecture and the convention, as well as the vigor and humor of the people. Several years later, I returned to Germany and stayed in one of its city's most prevailing and elegant apartments -- the Best Western Hotel Domicil. As a five-star apartment, the exterior is definitely splendid with its white walls and large glass windows that look dramatic during evenings.

Regarding service, the staff are organized and helpful in assisting clients. The Best Western Hotel Domicil offers room service, dry cleaning and laundry, and free breakfast. Anticipating that not all of their clients can speak their language, the apartment has an English-speaking staff to help attend to the needs of their clients. For those with pets, the apartment allows them to be brought in, so don't worry about leaving your beloved puppy at home while you're on a time off. I especially enjoyed the fact that the apartment has a decent lunch room and several more cafes just nearby, so I always had ample supply of food. My second vacation in Germany became even more meaningful and amazing with my stay in at the splendid Best Western Hotel Domicil.
