Strictly German

When talking about beers and sausages, ordinarily we think of these two as American edibles. However, calorie-rich beers and delicious sausages are originally from and renowned in Germany. These two are great together principally during Oktoberfest, and that is what I have found out during my latest trip in Munich as well as my first ever experience of German Oktoberfest.

There were lots of gaiety and tons of food, and beers were flooding the streets of Munich. Good thing my companion had signed up our seat in one of the largest beer tents. Millions of people from all over the sphere had come to be a part of the event, and of course as the people flooded the streets of Munich , foods such as the famous Bavarian beers, sausages, chickens, and pretzels among others were outpouring as well.

I have never seen and drank in my whole life a colossal glass of beer, and when I say huge glass it means a glass that curb a liter of beer. Because in the course of Oktoberfest, 1-liter mugs of beer are the only obtainable. However, if you are not a beer person, there were water and other cuppas that you can acquire as well.

Other huge things in the festival were the 15 inches Bavarian pretzels, and this only denotes that Germans do really know how to have huge events. As the people enjoy singing and dancing along with indigenous Bavarian music, they never forget to screech "Einen Guten Appetit!"

The Family Life, The Wedding, The German Method

Living in Germany is not really arduous like in other countries, but then all you have to ascertain first is their language. But when it comes to making a family, there are certain variations among families in metropolitan Germany and those in the countryside. Domiciles in city areas are mostly small that only the parents and their progeny, average of two only, can live in. In other regions of Southern Germany, they still keep the old-fashioned extended families or families of diverse generations living together under one roof. Also, typically both parents in the urban regions are working so hard to be able to provide their children with their wanted lifestyle.

Furthermore, just like in countless states, wedding is also a special part of a German's life. Engagement is a central part of wedding organization, and both the man and woman must wear gold ring in their left ring finger. Then the wedding itself is segmented into two parts: first is what we call as the civil rites or ceremony, which befalls a day prior to the actual church wedding, while during the evening of the civil rites, a tradition of Polterabend or the breaking of pottery or glass must be done to keep away the bad spirits. The next is the church wedding; the part where the gold ring is transferred from the left finger to the right as the central point of the observance.
